Le nouveau bar à cocktails de South Pigalle

On a fait un petit tour au Dirty Dick cette semaine et adoptons à l’unanimité cette nouvelle adresse de la rue Frochot. Un ancien bar à hôtesses devenu LE repère branché des parisien amateurs de bons cocktails et d’ambiance détente.
Au Dirty Dick on boit des cocktails déments dans des tikis, sculptures en bois ou en pierre originaire d’Océanie qui représentent un homme ou une tête d’homme. Les barmen et barmaids aux chemises à fleurs ne parlent pas vraiment français, raison de plus de venir… pour discuter, faire la fête et voyager un peu dans l’univers hawaiien exotique et kitch à souhait du Dirty Dick : tabourets en bamboo, murs peints hyper colorés, coucher de soleil, cocotiers, plantes et fleurs.
Mais ce qui fait tout dans ce bar c’est leur amour pour la qualité des matières premières, ils mixent et transforment eux-mêmes les fruits pour pouvoir ensuite créer des cocktails et surtout ils ont plus d’une cinquantaine de rhums référencés. Rare à Paris !
Just a break a testé le Zombie (attention il est si fort qu’ils ne sont autorisés à en servir que 3 maximum par client…), le Daïquiri Florida, le Maï Taï et le Pain Killer : tous délicieux et préparés par une fine équipe de bartenders expérimentés.

The new cocktail bar in South Pigalle
We recently stopped by the Dirty Dick this week and unanimously adopt this new address of the Frochot street. A former bar hostess which became THE landmark of trendy Parisian lovers of fine cocktails and relaxing atmosphere.
At Dirty Dick people drink delirious cocktails in tikis, man or man’s head sculptures in wood or stone native to Oceania. Barmen and barmaids with flowery shirts do not really speak French, one more reason to come over… to discuss, party and travel a bit in the exotic and kitsch Hawaiian universe of the Dirty Dick : bamboo stools, hyper colored painted walls, sunset, palm trees, plants and flowers.
But what makes this bar so special is the love for the quality of raw materials, they mix and transform themselves the fruit and then to create cocktails and especially they have more than fifty rhums referenced. Uncommon in Paris!
Just a break tested the Zombie (note it is so strong that they are only allowed to serve a maximum of 3 per customer…), the Florida Daiquiri, Maï Taï and the Pain Killer : all delicious and made by a fine team of experienced bartenders.
