Pour célébrer la fashion week anglaise et à l’occasion de l’évènement London Mania de la rentrée, le collectif London Art Wall envahit les lieux. Des street artistes tout droit venus des « places to be » londoniennes en matière de street art comme Shoreditch ou Canary Wharf ont customisé les fameuses cabines londoniennes, le pop-up store Maria Luisa et l’espace denim du Printemps.
London Art Wall est un collectif londonien qui met à disposition les murs de la partie Est de Londres aux publicitaires, aux artistes et aux communautés locales pour s’exprimer.
» {…} En plus de laisser les artistes s’exprimer sur les cabines téléphoniques au sein du Printemps, les créations seront également représentées sur un mur au Shoreditch Art Wall pendant la fashion-week, pour que les londoniens en profitent aussi. », déclarait Peter Mackeonis, CEO du London Art Wall à propos de la manifestation.
Alors concrètement, qu’est-ce qu’on peut voir au Printemps ? Les créations de Spiros Halaris et de Mateus Bailon seront mises en évidence au RDC du Printemps Mode, les cabines de KEF! seront exposées au 4ème étage. Le Printemps Homme prendra également les couleurs de la mode anglaise avec les créations d’Otto d’Ambra au RDC et au 1er étage. Quant à Roger Molloy, il partagera sa propre vision de la mode anglaise en créant une fresque murale au sein du pop-up store so London Mania chez Maria Luisa. Le parcours artistique se poursuivra à l’espace denim par une création de Jo Hamilton, célèbre artiste connue pour ses œuvres à base de crochet.

To celebrate the English fashion week and during the London Mania Event, the London Art Wall collective is invading the place. Some street artists straight from the Londonian street art « places to be » such as Shoreditch and Canary Wharf have customized the famous London phone boxes, the pop-up store Maria Luisa and the denim space of the Printemps.
London Art Wall is a Londonian collective that provides the walls of the eastern part of the city to advertisers, artists and local communities to express themselves.
« { …} In addition to letting the artists customize the famous London boxes at the Printemps, the creations will be shown on a wall in Shoreditch Art Wall for the fashion-week, so that Londonians can also benefit. » said Peter Mackeonis, CEO of London Art Wall, about the event.
So actually, what we can see at the Printemps ? Creations of Spiros Halaris and Mateus Bailon will be highlighted in the ground floor, the KEF phone booths ! will be on display on the 4th floor. The Printemps Men also takes the colors of the English fashion with the creation of Ambra Otto at the ground and first floors. As for Roger Molloy, he will share his vision of the English fashion by creating a mural work in the so Londonian pop-up store of Maria Luisa. The artistic journey continues in the denim space with the creations of Jo Hamilton, famously known for her works based on crochet technic.
