Après le 123 rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré et le 123 Champs Elysées, c’est au 123 Boulevard Sébastopol que le groupe Astotel, des frères Cachan, a posé ses valises. Fondé en 1971, le groupe compte désormais plus de 1 000 chambres à Paris, avec 18 hôtels trois et quatre étoiles, tous situés au centre de la Capitale.
Le projet du 123 Sébastopol est avant tout une aventure humaine, une aventure d’hommes et de femmes. Compte tenu de son emplacement privilégié, au cœur d’un quartier historiquement lié au cinéma (le Grand Rex se trouve à seulement quelques pas de là…), le 123 Sébastopol a eu l’ingénieuse idée de faire appel à des artistes qu’on connait tous et qui ont accepté de donner leur vision personnelle de leur art. L’hôtel leur a tout simplement dédié un étage : Jean-Paul Belmondo, Claude Lelouch, Danièle Thompson, le duo Agnès Jaoui / Jean-Pierre Bacri, Elsa Zylberstein ou encore le maestro Ennio Morricone, tous habillent les murs des chambres et vous plongent dans un univers cinématographique.
C’est l’architecte Philippe Maidenberg, fidèle collaborateur des frères Cachan, qui signe la décoration de l’établissement. Si vous ne connaissez pas encore Philippe Maidenberg sachez que c’est lui qui a réalisé l’hôtel Joyce*** et Le Six****, entre autres bien entendu. A suivre de très près car il travaille actuellement sur plusieurs chantiers parisiens.
L’hôtel compte 63 chambres, quelques unes communicantes, toutes équipées de la wifi of course…

After the 123 rue du Faubourg Saint Honore and the 123 Champs Elysées it’s at 123 Boulevard Sebastopol that Astotel group, belonging to Cachan brothers, has settled. Founded in 1971, the group has now more than 1,000 rooms in Paris, with 18 three and four star hotels, all located in the center of the capital.
The 123 Sebastopol hotel project is foremost a human adventure, an adventure of men and women. Given its privileged location in the heart of a historically linked to the cinema district (Grand Rex is just a few steps away…), the 123 Sebastopol had the ingenious idea to use artists we all know and who have agreed to give their personal vision of their art. The hotel has a floor dedicated to them: Jean-Paul Belmondo, Claude Lelouch, Danièle Thompson, the Agnes Jaoui / Jean-Pierre Bacri duo, Zylberstein or the Maestro Ennio Morricone, all of them adorn the walls of the rooms and plunge you into a true film universe.
