L’HÔTEL MONTAIGNE : L’ADRESSE COUTURE DE L’AVENUE EPONYME
On l’appelle « l’Avenue de la Haute couture et de la culture » et l’Hôtel Montaigne y trouve toute sa place. Il s’agit d’une adresse d’exception en plein cœur de Paris : un écrin discret et serein et c’est bien entendu ce qui nous charme dès l’entrée dans ce boutique hôtel de cinq étoiles. L’hôtel a rouvert il y a tout juste un an après avoir été redécoré par Pierre-Yves Rochon, architecte et décorateur d’intérieur de renom qui signe des chantiers pour les plus beaux hôtels du monde et les plus grands chefs des cinq continents.
Seulement 27 chambres et suites ; là ou d’autres auraient joué la carte de la rentabilité en proposant une centaine de chambres, l’Hôtel Montaigne a pris le parti de l’espace : luxe parisien. Sans parler des matériaux et de la décoration de chaque chambre qui offre au client une escapade dans une ambiance feutrée et apaisée. On aime le joli bar pour prendre un verre dans les grands canapés confortables devant la cheminée centrale. Au restaurant, le fameux Bar de l’Entracte, on y mange une bonne cuisine française plongés dans l’atmosphère théâtrale des murs. Must du must : un thé en terrasse pour admirer le balais des grandes maisons de couture (Armani, Chanel, Chloé, Dior, Fendi, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Ungaro, Valentino, Versace…).

It’s called « Avenue of haute couture and culture » and The Montaigne Hotel finds its place overthere. This is an exceptional address in the heart of Paris: a discreet and calm setting and of course this is what charms us from entering in this five star boutique hotel. The hotel was reopened a year ago after being refurbished by Pierre-Yves Rochon, renowned architect and interior designer who has signed yards for the finest hotels in the world and the greatest chef of the five continents.
Only 27 rooms and suites, where others would have played the card of profitability by offering a hundred rooms, the Montaigne Hotel took advantage of space : Parisian luxury. Not to mention the materials and decoration of each room that offers the customer a getaway in a warm and peaceful atmosphere. We like the nice bar for a drink in the large comfortable sofas in front of the central fireplace. At the restaurant, the famous Bar de l’Entracte, we eat a good French food inside a very theatrical atmosphere surrounded by the walls. Absolute must : a tea on the terrace to admire the brush of fashion houses (Armani, Chanel, Chloe, Dior, Fendi, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Ungaro, Valentino, Versace…).
